Recognizing the significance of better understanding brain function for improving the lives of millions affected by neuro-psychiatric disorders, Ronen joined ElMindA’s board as an investor in 2006, and soon thereafter became the company’s CEO. Prior to his business career, Ronen’s track record of excellence began with an eight-year service as an F-16 fighter pilot and IAF aerobatic team member. Early in his career, Ronen’s drive for delivering meaningful solutions led him to Silicon Valley based Applied Materials. Later, Ronen joined Philips and co-founded Philips’ Global Corporate Venture arm, making Philips one of the most active corporate investors in Israel. Ronen led Philips in a visionary pathway into Personalized Telemedicine Healthcare through an investment, joint venture and IPO of SHL Telemedicine, and became the CEO of its European subsidiary.
