Jordan Amadio, M.D., M.B.A. is Chief Resident Physician in Neurosurgery at Emory University in Atlanta and founder/managing partner of NeuroLaunch, the brain technology venture accelerator. In the past 2 years, NeuroLaunch has invested in 11 neuroscience companies, onboarded over 150 global mentors, expanded to 5 countries, and facilitated success for over 60 startups participating in its programming.
Dr. Amadio received his medical education at Princeton, Harvard Medical School, and MIT. He was also among the first cohort of physicians to graduate with a concurrent MBA (with Distinction) from Harvard Business School, with a focus on health technology investing. He currently serves as Innovation Fellow for the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the largest international society of neurosurgeons.
In 2014, Dr. Amadio was one of 15 young physicians to receive the American Medical Association Foundation’s Excellence in Medicine Award. He has been named “40 under 40” by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as well as “40 under 40 Healthcare Innovators” by MedTechBoston. He has been a featured keynote speaker at Genentech, Harvard Medical School, Princeton University, Georgia Tech, Mayo Clinic, TEDx, SXSW, and Exponential Medicine. He serves on the boards of several venture-backed technology companies and charitable foundations.
